Our philosophy
Max is the founder, photographer, and lead guide at Max Okavango Safaris.
He grew up on an island in the Okavango Delta and brings over 21 years of guiding experience, shaped by a deep, personal connection to the landscapes and wildlife of northern Botswana.
For more than a decade, Max has been capturing the beauty of the Botswana wilderness through his lens, sharing his passion for photography on our specialised tours. His calm presence, extensive knowledge, and genuine enthusiasm make every journey both educational and inspiring.
Max’s passion for safari reflects his belief that meaningful experiences begin with the people who create them.
